Suicide is known as when someone tries to take their own life because of certain problem such as depression. It can be direct or indirect action. Depression always link with suicide action. Depression is emotional feeling that can’t be control by someone that makes them to lose their mentality which it finally ends up with suicide. Around the world, everyday has suicidal cases. It also happened in Malaysia.
In Malaysia, the rate of people commit suicide is increasing year by year. The three main races in Malaysia that make a percentage of suicidal cases are Malays, Chinese, and Indian. Indian people make up the highest percentage of the chart with 43% of case; follow by the Chinese people with 34% and 23% for the Malays. The main reason of their suicidal are commonly related with the depression. Such as family problem, financial, burden of study and relationship problem.
Each of the races has they own common way to commit suicide. For the Indians, they commit suicide by drinking poison. While for the Chinese they more like to hanging themselves and jumping from the higher building for the Malays. The ages for this people to commit suicide are usually among 16-45 years old. Mostly the teenagers commit suicide because of burden from study and family problem. But the most suicide cases involves the teenagers are about relationships. While for the adults, they are commonly related to the financial such as shark loans and stress from the job, also family problem. Besides the teenagers and adults, the golden ages also include in committing suicide. This is because of they find out they are suffers from illness that cannot be cured.
Government has made many programs that include in avoiding suicidal among our society. For the depress person they can seek help from the psychiatrics or share they problem with their closed friend or family before taking any direct action. In a nutshell, suicide is not a way for us to solve our problem. In all religious, suicide is not allowed so we should always remember our belief in our faith.
